The American West Gallery
Containing more than 110 works from the
Museum’s permanent collection, this gallery is divided into seven
interpretive themes: Symbols of the West, Faces, First Peoples, Colliding
Cultures, Wild, Wooly & Wicked?, Let’s Rodeo
and
The Modern West. Each theme showcases art
related to an artistic topic or period in Western history. Many
of the finest Western artists of the 20th Century are represented in this
gallery.
