Booth Western Art Museum Research Library

Ask Our Librarian!

This service is available to all who have brief, factual questions.  You can submit questions any time without leaving your home or office.

Examples of appropriate questions are: a definition of a term, address of a company, help with an incomplete citation, or suggestions on what database(s) should be used for your research topic.  You will receive brief answers, suggested research strategies, or citations to books or articles.

The Mailbox is checked once a day Monday through Friday.  Questions submitted on the weekend will be checked on Monday.  We will get back to you within two working days with either an answer to your question or a request for clarification.  If you need more immediate assistance, please phone the Reference Desk at 770-387-1300 and ask for Liz Gentry, our Librarian.

To submit a question to the librarian, please include the following information: name, email address, telephone, name of institution affiliation, general subject of question, and the question itself.  Note any sources you have already tried, what types of materials you are looking for and the kind of project you are doing.  Also specify any deadlines after which you cannot use this information. Submit your question to lizg@boothmuseum.org.
