Driving to the Booth Western Art Museum

The Museum will be expanding in the Fall of 2007.
In order to avoid the construction, please follow
these new driving directions and map
to the bus drop off and parking area.

Arriving From the East on I-75

  • Take I-75 to exit #288 – Main Street, Cartersville, Georgia.
  • Follow Main Street (Highway #113 / #61) into the business district – approximately 2.2 miles.
  • Turn right on Gilmer Street, go under the bridge and the Museum is on the left.
  • Park in the Tabernacle Church parking lot on the right to off-load students.
  • Cross the street at the crosswalk and enter through the gate located on Gilmer Street.
     

Arriving From the West on Highway # 113/ #61

  • Take Highway #113 / #61 – Main Street, Cartersville, Georgia.
  • Follow Main Street into the business district.
  • After crossing the railroad tracks, proceed to the 1st traffic light and turn left onto Gilmer Street.
    Go under the bridge and the Museum is on the left.
  • Park in the Tabernacle Church parking lot on the right to off-load students.
  • Cross the street at the crosswalk and enter through the gate located on Gilmer Street.
