PLANNING YOUR SCHOOL VISIT

Dear Educator:

Thank you for choosing the Booth Western Art Museum as an extension of your classroom instruction! Please review the following information carefully so that everyone involved will have the best experience possible.

Program Information:
All programs are based upon Georgia Performance Standards for visual art, language arts and social studies.

There is a 15 student minimum and a 120 student maximum for guided programs.

If the number of students in your group changes, please contact Scheduling at 770- 387-3849 and let us know as soon as possible.

All programs include a short stop in the museum store. This time provides the students with a restroom break and opportunity to buy a souvenir or browse.

Please follow the adult to student ratio recommendation:
1 adult / 5 students for Pre-K through 5th grade programs.
1 adult / 10 students for middle school and high school programs.

All successful programs involve active participation of adults in helping to maintain the student’s discipline and focus.

$4.00 for Bartow, Cherokee & Forsyth county students
$8.00 for parents / chaperones
