The Iconic West of R. Tom Gilleon
January 28 through May 27 – Temporary Exhibition Gallery
Tom Gilleon brings a unique perspective to the iconic subjects of the West, and is best known for his translucent teepees. The more than 30 paintings in this exhibition expose viewers to the full range of his subjects, including grain elevators, Indians, horses and landscapes. Also included are several nine panel grid paintings reminiscent of Andy Warhol. |

Western Art South of the Sweet Tea Line III
September 24 through February 12, 2012 – Special Exhibition Gallery
This is the third offering in the Booth’s signature triennial exhibition series, featuring seldom seen great works of art from public and private Southern collections. Included are more than 50 paintings and sculpture in a range of media and styles covering over 150 years of art history. This exhibit is sponsored in part by A New Dimension Graphic Design & Printing, Scottsdale Art Auction, SunTrust Bank, Chick-fil-A, Peachtree Planning and Mr. Steve and Mrs. Kelly Buckner.
