Library Acquisition Fund

Artist, Kim Wiggins, in our Library.

The research library at the Booth Western Art Museum is open to the public for research projects at all levels.  Our full time librarian is available to assist the public Tuesday through Friday.  The library currently houses more than 15,000 volumes, including books, periodicals, and auction catalogs, as well as videos and DVDs.  The library also maintains a video copy of all lectures held at the museum and oral history interviews conducted with artists who have visited the Booth.

While our current holdings are a tremendous resource for the community, there are still many important volumes that would be of assistance to both the public and the staff of the Museum.  With support from donors, we can continue to acquire books and other materials of value to researchers and staff.  Donations made to the Library Acquisition Fund are restricted and may only be used to support the purchase of materials for the library.  Donations of cash, stock, and artwork or bequests are greatly appreciated and will help to insure the ongoing quality growth of the collections in the library at the Booth Western Art Museum.  You may contact the Development Department at 770-607-6363  for further details.
