Rights and Reproductions

Scroll down for a schedule of rights and reproductions fees for duplicating collection records, supplying photographs, and granting reproduction rights.

The Booth Western Art Museum takes particular care with respect to protecting the intellectual property rights of the artists represented in its collection.  As many of the artists are still living, their works are still covered by copyright.  The bulk of the collection was created post-1923; those works are still copyright protected whether or not the artist is living.  We make every effort to assist researchers in contacting artists and copyright holders to negotiate use agreements.  A full credit line, citing the Collection of the Booth Western Art Museum together with the accession number, artist, title, date, medium and dimensions shall be required when any item from the Museum collection is published or reproduced.
