As the United States expanded its territory over the Appalachian Mountains, across the Mississippi River and on to the Great Plains that stretch to the Rocky Mountains, people were the driving force pushing the frontier toward the Pacific Ocean. Who were these restless people moving ever westward? Join us this summer as we meet some of the Faces of the West; the explorers, traders, settlers, soldiers, railroad workers, ranchers and cowboys who helped make us a nation from sea to sea.

A take-home craft activity and a visit to the Booth Museum Store are also included.
